Pennymeade is named after an English pond where Monica Noone had spent many hours playing as a young girl – when clothes were made to stand the test of time, trends, and two-year-olds. Monica clearly hasn’t forgotten her roots; durability, uncompromising comfort, and timeless style are at the heart of Pennymeade’s designs. Expert craftsmanship and supremely elegant collections ensure that these classic pieces, designed to coordinate with each other, last long beyond the season and can be passed on for generations to come.
As Pennymeade celebrates its first anniversary this month, Monica reflects on what a busy year it has been. “Pennymeade is my fifth child and like any new mom will tell you, that first year is remarkably rewarding and fairly exhausting!” In its first year alone, Pennymeade has successfully launched three collections, and is now preparing to debut its Spring/Summer 2015 collection at ENK this summer. Despite the exhaustion, Monica says, “To see our designs and our vision literally materialize on runways, in gift boxes, and on beautiful children across the globe has made every sleepless night worth it.”
Pictured here are some of the items from the latest collection which, like collections past, offer coordinating looks for boys and girls. Which look is your favorite?
