We Support the Sustainable Classroom Project!

The Sustainable Classroom Project is a project launched by Elemental Interiors Cares, an NYC based company founded by Sarah Barrett and Megan Downing. The mission is to design a sustainable classroom for kindergarten students in the Bitoon Ilaya Community of rural Philippines.

Elemental Cares is hosting the Fundraising event on April 11th, 2013 and all proceeds will go towards the material cost of classroom construction. The event will feature a silent auction with a fantastic offering of items: including dinners at Aquavit and Spice Market, a 2-night stay at the James
Hotel in Miami, original artwork by accomplished artists, and interior home goods.

It is a great cause and especially means a lot to us at VOGUE Bambini, a children's magazine. To support the event, you can purchase tickets HERE, or by buying items from the Online Classroom Registry, where patrons who can not attend the NYC event can donate specific classroom items and contribute to the cause.

The project is also in collaboration with Advancement for Rural Kids—an NYC-based nonprofit that gets rural children in developing countries back to school by providing a community-owned $15/child/year Feeding Program.
